Halloween in Anthropology

I was in my Anthropology class on Halloween and had a great time. He had scheduled a board game for that day because he knew most people either wouldn't be focused or wouldn't be there at all.
I walked into class dressed like a woodland elf from lord of the rings! (I'm a nerd so what lol)

Anyways he stated that he was sorry he didn't bring candy because he was going to be spending all his money the next day on a "nerdy thing".
I jokingly said "Sounds fun" very sarcastically. and then he goes "Look who's talking woodland elf" lol Not only was my costume good enough for people to know what I was, but it also made my day that much better by that conversation.

The Flash Drive

So I lost my flash drive last week and I was so upset because they're expensive. The next day I entered to win a prize and guess what my prize was. A FLASH DRIVE!!! no kidding. There is some big cosmic joke going on.

So i've been listening to 94.9 for days now just to hear the little drummer boy song come on because it's my favorite and they still haven't played it. However, until they do play it I am settling for the song "Do you hear what I hear" by Bing Crosby as my favorite until such time as the radio station stops messing with me.

Tacky tics

So we have this guy in my Math class that has an English accent and the first thing he asks the class is "what is the first thing you think of when you hear my accent?" and being who I am, I blurted out "Harry Potter!” I was really relieved when he was the first one to start laughing. Then we somehow got on the subject of different names for things and he asked why tic tacs aren’t called tacky tics. The only explanation we had for that was that tics don't have a very good breath because they would smell like blood and he scolded us on how Americans talk "barbarically" lol... Another guy from the class said "If you don't like it you can geeeet out." in a very southern accent and we were all laughing hysterically when the teacher walked in ensuing a very awkward silence.

Devil's Lake

Today I'm going to Devil's lake with the German Exchange trips (I'm a buddy for a German Exchange Student names Anabel). Whoop Whoop! Unfortunately, they told us last minute that we had to go to our first block class......I don't have any of my class stuff with me.....So now I'm sitting here on my blog because the project I'm supposed to be working on is not with me....pth. Oh well, I guess now that I came to class I at least know that there IS a project that supposed to be due soon.
I'm going' to have fun today; hiking and swimming! Whoop Whoop. I'm going to try to tan again this year. It usually doesn't work and I burn, but I have to try every year. So, yeah. Normally I burn, it peals away, and then I'm exactly the same pasty white I was before. I hope we hike first, usually the water is cold in the morning so....yeah that would not be fun. I'm hoping it goes: Hike, Lunch, Swim. I brought a lunchable for lunch lol. Yeah, I'm that cool. I was hoping they were just going to say "OK were hear do whatever meet back at the bus" but I guess because I'm not paying for the trip itself so they decide what we spend time on..... maybe there's still a chance they'll say that with just a guideline. As long as that guideline isn't some stupid "scavenger hunt fun". Those things are so lame. And with prizes of Chocolate Bars for the winners......sorry, but I'm trying to cut down on my chocolate. I'm from America, I get enough sweets as it is. Oh, well......hmmmmm....now what?!.... I don't know.....Eh, talk to ya later I'm going on one of my other blogs.

So, I haven't posted this yet, but for some reason the KFC/Taco Bell where I worked has closed down. They say that the owner had been taking lettuce out of the garbage at Piggly Wiggly and selling it in the store (Ew Gross). Suffice to say that I don't have a job right now (for the last month or more). I've just taken it as a "you're all fired" because I need the money and will be finding another job. Mom's thinking about taking them to small claims because they didn't pay me the first two weeks pay that they're supposed to pay when they fire you. I'm trying to get a job at KFC in portage, and I keep calling them. It's not being annoying it's persistence! I hope I get a job soon because I really need the money this summer, and want it too. I want to have fun this summer and do more things, but you cant do that when you have no money.
