Ugh my family is cursed

So I am completely convinced now. A while ago I told my friends that someone in my family goes to the hospital for something kinda serious almost every month and I was just waiting to see what happened this month.....yeah my great uncle is in the hospital for having a stroke.......it's true...I mean last month my uncle shot his finger off....litterally SHOT IT OFF!!! yeah.....that was pretty interesting to see. lol Wonder what's gonna happen next month.

English fun

So my English teacher assigned us an essay and, of course, the first question that comes to everyone's mind is "how long does the essay have to be?". My English teacher's response was something that I'll never forget:
"It's like a skirt. It has to be long enough to cover the important parts, but short enough to be interesting."

Ok so I was looking at my blog numbers and statistics. The blog with only one follower and only seven posts still has 1298 page views. Thats more pageviews than my reading blog that has seven followers and more than 70 posts.....Holly Cow!!! That's amazing!!!!

TMD

So my grandma told me that my jaw problems are probably the same as her's. She has TMD, and to be honest it sounds like the same as what I've got. Here's what it is. I have most of the symptoms! it's crazy


Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) occur as a result of problems with the jaw, jaw joint and surrounding facial muscles that control chewing and moving the jaw. These disorders are often incorrectly called TMJ, which stands for temporomandibular joint.

The cause of TMD is not clear, but dentists believe that symptoms arise from problems with the muscles of the jaw or with the parts of the joint itself.

Injury to the jaw, temporomandibular joint, or muscles of the head and neck – such as from a heavy blow or whiplash – can cause TMD. Other possible causes include:
Grinding or clenching the teeth, which puts a lot of pressure on the TMJ
Dislocation of the soft cushion or disc between the ball and socket
Presence of osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis in the TMJ
Stress, which can cause a person to tighten facial and jaw muscles or clench the teeth

Common symptoms of TMD include:
Pain or tenderness in the face, jaw joint area, neck and shoulders, and in or around the ear when you chew, speak, or open your mouth wide
Limited ability to open the mouth very wide
Jaws that get "stuck" or "lock" in the open- or closed-mouth position
Clicking, popping, or grating sounds in the jaw joint when opening or closing the mouth (which may or may not be accompanied by pain) or chewing
A tired feeling in the face
Difficulty chewing or a sudden uncomfortable bite – as if the upper and lower teeth are not fitting together properly
Swelling on the side of the face
May occur on one or both sides of the face

Why me?

So I was REALLY looking forward to homecoming week but I just keep getting sicker and sicher. First I had a sore throat. Then that went away and I had a stuffy nose. Then this morning I have a sinus infection AND I'm loosing my voice.my throat dosn't hurt though which makes losing my voice really weird. My nose is so stuffed up because of my sinus infection that my ears hurt.......I know that sounds weird but it happens so don't judge me! and I cant stand the smell of vicks. Add that to the fact that I'm going to be up and about all day looking for wedding dresses with my cousin means I dont think I'm going to be done with this cold for a while. Which means my fun homecoming week is becomeing less and less fun with each passing day.......why does it always have to be me?

Depressed

I don't know why but this year is getting harder and harder for me to take. I personally don't really like the new schedual because the big classes that I am taking give you double the homework which sucks. I don't have a lot of friends in my classes and for some reason I don't think I'd want to anyways. I feel like my friends and I are growing farther and farther apart. I didn't realize just how different I am from my friends until I didn't really get to spend much time with them. Are lives are completely different, and I knew that. I mean jeesh we joked about it but......I don't know. Things are just....yeah. I don't really feel like I can relate to my friends anymore. Everyone talks about how awesome the feeling of graduating is but they never tell you about this. I know everything is going to be fine but right now I just feel....kind of alone. As sid the sloth would say; "im a lone lonely loner". That was a comical joke about how alone I feel but you get the picture. Don't worry I'm not going to do anything rash. Suicide is for pussies. I can take this. I'll find my safe haven in my books, which I have been doing for a long while now.
Things are just so different. Change is just so hard. Life is constantly changing.

Twisted Time

Now think about the time like it was a pool. Think about if you hated yourself enough and time travel was a possability. Now this is very weird of me to think of but..... If your future self went back in time to kill you're past self during the present (your present not your future selfs present) then would you see yourself die twice or would you not exsist to see yourself die? Then if you didn't exsist to see yourself die then how could you kill yourself? In my opinion you would see your past self die and then your present and future self would stop exsisting altogether AFTER you commited the act. This, of course, is my opinion... Why don't you tell me yours?

My Lunch time

Ok so I found out that the schedule that the school sent out has my lunch time on it. Yaaaay. Anyways, if your my friend and reading this and you havn't told me when YOUR lunch time is.....shame on you! lol anyways, my lunch time is at 10:54-11:23 on A days and at 12:24-12:54 on B days. so were as the first day of school my lunch time will be at 10:54 but the day after that it will be at 12:24. Confused? so am I lol.

Always Cold!

it's so weird to always be cold during a drought. sitting there in a snuggie is weird in the summer lol. For some reason people think that's weird! My friend knows what I'm talking about. She wears flip flops in the winter. She'd wear shorts if her mom let her. lol. We're opposites but it works...somehow. lol well, just remember during times of altumite warmness there is someone out there in Wisconsin complaining about how cold it is in this 100 degree weather. lol

Yay Storms

I have come to the conclustion that naming the new kitten "storm" a few months ago was a jinx on the weather. So I started to call her "kitten" or "mouse" (I call her mouse because she kinda looks like a mouse when she's hidding under stuff). Since I started doing that I figured I was right because it has been raining again. Lol. Did anyone else wake to the storm last night and then fall into a blissful sleep thinking "awwww I love that sound" just as another thundering noise shook the house and you were rocked back into oblivion?.....No?.... Oh, well, just me then. lol

How long do you have, really?

Ok so a while ago I found out that a guy my age died. He died of a over dose. To be honest I didn't really know the guy and if you asked me before this all happened I would have said something like "oh him? he's a duche" now all I can think of saying about him is "that's sad".
This whole happening is scary to me though. I mean, yeah i didn't really know the guy except for the fact that he was a jerk to a lot of people but it gets scary. When someone your age dies....
Ok so it's like you don't really think that you're never gonna die. But it doesn't really take a lot to feel safe in life. It's really easy to take the stuff you have for granted. I'm sorry this guy died. I'm even more sad that he took a lot of people in my grade's sense of security.
You never know how long you have in this world and when you realize this little fact again (I say again because no one ever forgets it just simply push the fact off) it really shakes your world up a bit.

Stupid school!

I'm getting really mad at the school right now. By this time last year they had the scheduals up in infenite campus and I was printing them out because I lost my old one.
This year though, when I actually NEED to see my schedual to see if they accepted my application for senior release they don't have the scheduals up. I already know what my grades were last year. Now I wan't to know if I have senior release and when my lunch time is. Stupide new schedualing system. That confuses me to. The seniors are supposed to have meetings with the principle during lunch times. If half of the senior class is at lunch while the other half is in class how are we going to meet? It just doesn't make any sense!

sitting at home finally relaxing....whew! this is sweet. Anybody want to go swiming. That is when it gets cooler. Sorry but I burn easy and to go outside swimming in 100 degree weather's doesnt' sound refreshing to me. lol hopefully it will rain soon and put and end to this drought.

Reminiscing past summer fun

So many good memories of summer. Where to start?
Ok so if you know me then you know that my bestest best friend is my cousin Kevin. That's right....my cousin! My family is really close we have what most people call "family reunions" every holiday. So when I was growing up I was growing up with my cousin. Kevin is the about the same age as me (a couple months younger which put him in a grade lower than me) and he looks eerily similar to me also. So similar in fact that the family calls us the giggle twins (giggle twins because we laugh so much and we look alike). Coincidentally, a lot of my memories revolve around hanging out with my cousin.
Every year....
Every year my cousin comes over for a week during summer and we stay up and play games. Last year my cousin stayed over and we played round after round of Rockband. We got so into the game we started playing expert and we were actually good. It was amusing.
Last week....
Ok so if you know about the wii then you know about wii sports. My cousin and I were babysitting for my other cousin (his sister) and when JT (the kid we were babysitting) was preoccupied we played wii sports tennis. It was fun/funny because we were competing against ourselves. Kevin and I was on a team against Kevin and me (I know it doesn't sound like the right grammar there but trust me...it's right). I was fun because we always won and it was funny because were yelling obscenities at the other team...which was ourselves. Yeah...stupidity's fun a lot of the time.
Ok well I gotta go. Reminiscing is fun but it's the past and I got things to do in the present.

Well....this is summer so far

So, it is the second (going on third) week of summer and I haven't really been home to just chillax yet. Nobody's fault but my own I guess but still. When you think of summer fun you always remember those few fun moments between all the boredom. It's been fun, don't get me wrong, but ugh....I have this problem with homesickness you see. Have had it since I was little (don't know what started it. It's starting to kick in and I'm not going to be home all week next week either, so I'm just hoping I have a lot of fun and forget about it. I love summer but the funny thing is....I haven't gone swimming yet!!! Who doesn't go swimming in the summer? Apparently my 'cause I haven't yet. Hopefully this week will bring me in to summer fun a little more. What's more summery than camping, eh? It's Devils Lake! I love to hike more than anything. Maybe my cousin and I will get lucky and get lost again, it was fun the last time. lol. I don't know how we ended up on the other side of the lake but it happened and our parent's reaction was hilarious.

Memorial Day Parade!

I love parades. I love the whole community coming together to celebrate one day. I love everyone talking like no one is a stranger. I just love it. I don't really Know why it's just so much better than walking down a street on a normal day and absolutely no one even says HI. It's just.....fun.

Dreams

I like dreams, but sometimes they can be really weird. In my dream last night I was, like, really old....Like forty (lol), and I was going to the school reunion. We'll Mrs. Pare was there and she wanted all her old chorus group to sing for the entire congregation. Alyssa and I was trying to find the right songs, songs we sang when we were actually in chorus but we couldn't find any. After a long time looking for a song we gave up and went back to the party. We somehow got to a pool that wasn't there before and we went swimming. I woke up when a giant thunder noise (it was raining) shook the house because it was so loud (not even joking the house actually shook). My dreams are weird, but at least I didn't dream about me traveling to Pluto in a ship that I built. Having that dream twice would really be weird.

Commercials!

If I was to give the television industry one tip that would make the whole media better it would be to make all the commercials funny with a catchy song tied into it. Heck I still remember the freecreditreport.com commercials. (freeeee credit report dot com, should have seen it comin' at me like an atom bomb.)....Sorry I got carried away. Like I was saying. You're trying to make people remember what your product is. Don't have them sit through boring commercials. I enjoy watching commercials when they are funny but I turn the channel when a boring one comes on. And another thing. Don't make commercials that make no sense. Right when the commercials comes on we should be able to tell what it is. There shouldn't be models and then the commercial be about McDonalds! That doesn't make sense. We all know models don't eat. Be real people!!! Just Kidding about the model thing, but in all seriousness, don't have a commercial about kids playing in the fields and the commercial be about Budweiser (which I've seen before by the way). It's just stupid!!!

Fire Drill

I don't know about what you think but I don't think the school should be doing so many fire drills all the time. Here's why: today during class we were in the computer pod to work on our papers when a fire drill went off. Instead of jumping up right away I went, "ugh" and started saving my papers. That's sad right? I mean kids shouldn't be too calm about a fire drill. What if the school actually does start on fire? People will be going "ugh" and not hurrying up to get OUT of the school. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

So I know this might be weird but I figured out that the best lunch (in my opinion) is Tutie Fruities and barbacue chips and nothing else. So that's what I brought for lunch today.....again...

Ok so I feel really stupid. My show got over and i was only vaugly listening to the TV. The next show started with "This is a World wide television broadcast, I have news of the Worlds first contact with extra terrestrials." I totally thought for a second that it was real until I looked at the TV. lol. So funny!!!!

Ghosts

I don't know about you guyses-except for my friends, I know about you- i really, truly, believe in ghosts. My friend Alyssa and I, whenever we go to the Wilderness in the dells we seem to have the strangest experiences. Once the door handle to our room was jiggling and when we went to go to check it out there was no one there. Another time we were walking through the hall and we looked back briefly and we saw someone wearing, you wouldn't believe this, a top hat. When we did a double take (come on the guy was wearing a top hat and he was walking, like, super close) there was no one there. The last time we went was, in my opinion, the most scary. We were on the elevator and the elevator jolted. Like something jumped on the top of it. Then the rest of the way down the whole thing was shaking, and when we finally got to out floor the doors only opened halfway. You might say that it was the elevators just malfuntioning, but i don't know....it really felt like someone was there with us....that was the creepy part about it. ok not the creepiest part, but it was deffinatly a terrifying experiance anyways.

Today I was singing a song in math class and in the song there's a part where you laugh. (ever heard 123 like a bird i sing?) Well, my friend thought I was laughing at her. You know how awkward that is. lol. It was really great though.

And that's when the fight started

Ok so these might be a little long but, they're so funny that I just can't resist.


1. I heard my wife crying in the bathroom. "Honey? What's wrong" I asked. "Oh, George! Just look at me: I'm getting so old! I have more gray in my hair than blonde, I have varicose veins on both of my legs, and I'm just fat and wrinkled all over! I really need someone to say something positive about me right now!" I looked deeply into her eyes and said softly: "Your vision's real good, honey. That's something, isn't it?"
And that's when the fight started....

2. When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive. So I took her to a gas station.
And that's when the fight started....

3. My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table. My wife asked, "Do you know her?" "Yes," I sighed, "She was my senior year girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since." "My God!" says my wife. "Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?"
And that's when the fight started....

4. I asked my wife, "Where do you want to go for our anniversary?" It warmed my heart to see her face melt in sweet appreciation. "Somewhere I haven't been in a long time!" she said. So I suggested, "How about the kitchen?"
And that's when the fight started....

5. My wife and I are watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, "Do you want to have sex?" "No," she answered. I then said, "Is that your final answer?" She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying "Yes." So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend."
And that's when the fight started....

That's What She Said

I might seem immature for saying this, but I'm almost 17 and I still think the "that's what she said" joke is so funny. I just cant get enough of it. I'd like to do them all the time. Sometimes it's the only thing that gets me through a class. A teacher say's "yeah I know this problem is a little hard" and I'm trying hard not to burst out laughing. (by the way, if you're a true fan of the "that's what she said" joke then you'll notice that the lines 2-4 are part of the joke).

You know it's weird how a group of people can be affected by just one saying or picture. Today me and my friends were searching through blogs and we found this picture (An Open Book by Longstory). Looking back I don't see why it was so darn good, but I still laugh when I look at this. So, as my first post is inspired by someone elses blog.
